a. Surveys and Posting of Temporary Signs - Whenever the Chief of Police and the Metropolitan Police Commission of the town, in the course of the traffic study deem it advisable to delete or to add other streets to the schedules attached to this Traffic Code, they may do so on a temporary basis and such streets and locations, when posted by signs, shall be deemed for said temporary period to be incorporated within the respective sections scheduled herein.
b. Copy of New Sign Locations to Town Council - Upon the posting of said streets the Police Commission and/or the Chief of Police shall immediately forward copies of said addition to the Town Council, the Clerk-Treasurer, and the Town attorney. In addition, a copy of the change or addition to said schedule shall be posted in a public place in each ward of the Town of Schererville. In the event that the Town Council shall, by resolution, deem said addition to the schedules unwise or improper then said signs shall be immediately removed. Unless and until the Town Council disapproves of said proposed addition or modification of said schedules, then the Chief of Police and the Metropolitan Police Commission may maintain such signs for any period they may deem sufficient to properly evaluate the effects and benefits of said addition or modification to the schedules not to exceed one (1) year.

c. At least once each year, the Police Commission shall forward to the Town Council a list of suggested modifications in the schedules of this Traffic Code, as determined by studies, engineering, traffic surveys, or experience and as verified by temporary posting of signs as hereinbefore described.
