Sec. 8-2 Definitions. 2

   a.   The words and phrases used herein shall have the same meaning and definitions as defined in Indiana Code, § 9-13-1, et seq., addressing “definitions”.

   b.   Compression Release Engine Brake - A hydraulically operated device that converts a power producing diesel engine into a power absorbing retarding mechanism.

   c.   Child Passenger Restraint System - A device that is manufactured for the purpose of protecting children from injury during a motor vehicle accident and meets the requirements and standards prescribed in Indiana Code, § 9-13-2-23 and 49 CFR 571.213.

   d.   Passenger Motor Vehicle - A motor vehicle designed for carrying passengers and does not include a motorcycle, bus, school bus, tractor or recreational vehicle.
