Sec. 7-10 Proof of Insurance Required.
   All Contractors registered under this Article shall be required to obtain and to file with the Clerk-Treasurer a Certificate issued by a duly authorized officer of a responsible insurance company or companies authorized to do business in the State of Indiana, showing that the licensee has, in full force and effect:
   a.   Worker's Compensation Insurance covering all employees on any work done within the Town of Schererville, Indiana, in such amounts as is required by law;
   b.   Public liability in the amount of not less than five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) for one person or one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for one accident;
   c.   Property damage in the amount of not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00);
   d.   Said Worker's Compensation and public liability insurance shall be kept in full force and effect during the entire course of registration;
   e.   The Contractor registering shall also comply with all of the provisions of the Worker's Compensation Act of the State of Indiana, as amended from time to time.

   f.   Pursuant to I.C., § 22-3-2-2, this Section does not apply to Sole Proprietors and Partnerships that do not have employees and have on file with the Planning and Building Department of the Town of Schererville, a State approved, certified Contractor's Affidavit of Exemption.
