Sec. 2-2 Annexation. 1

   a.   Annexations are adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as fully as if the same were attached hereto and incorporated here, as filed in the offices of the Lake County Auditor and Recorder, and in the Town Hall of Schererville, Indiana. If any phrase, sentence or portion of this chapter shall be declared invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter shall nevertheless be enforced the same as if it had been passed without such invalid portion.

   b.   As new areas are brought into the Town, each annexation ordinance shall assign said areas to the appropriate legislative district (ward) which are further described in Section 3-2 of this Code.
