a. Any individual committing an intentional act which results in damage or defacement to personal property in the Town of Schererville, Indiana, without consent of the owner of said property, shall be deemed to have committed the act of vandalism.

b. Upon a finding by a preponderance of the evidence that an individual has committed an act of vandalism, said individual shall be subject to a minimum fine of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars to a maximum of five hundred ($500.00) dollars.

c. Each and every act of vandalism committed by an individual, as defined above, may constitute a separate offense.
