Sec. 6-131 Real Estate Excluded from this Chapter.
   The following real estates are excluded from the provisions of this chapter:
   a.   Wooded Areas - A natural area with a high density of trees.
   b.   Wetlands - Wetlands as defined by state and federal statutes.
   c.   Legally Protected Areas - Legally preserved and protected prairies and habitats, and other legally mandated forms of vegetation (i.e. erosion control areas).
   d.   Certain Corridors - Unsubdivided utility and transportation corridors which are not adjacent to residentially developed real estate.
   e.   Agricultural Property - Property under cultivation for the production of grain and produce; property used as pastureland for the raising and feeding of livestock.
   f.   Covenanted Property - Commercial or industrial real estate which is, either through subdivision or site plan approval, subject to a covenant to plant and maintain a landscaped area shall continue to be bound by the applicable covenant so long as the covenant requirements are equal to or greater than the provisions of this chapter.
   g.   Public Lands - Property owned by federal, state, or county governments.
