The Town Council of the Town of Schererville, Lake County, Indiana, specifically acknowledges the existence of a law adopted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana which regulates the imposition of impact fee ordinances by municipal corporations with the State of Indiana. It is the intent of the Town of Schererville to comply with such legislation, and this ordinance shall be construed in all respects to be consistent with the Act. The substantive and procedural requirements Indiana Code, § 36-7-4-1300, et seq., shall control in the event of conflicts which are unintended by the Town Council.
