a. Owners of property subject to I.C., § 6-1.1-5-15 shall not be required to file an assessment registration notice with the Town of Schererville on behalf of the Township Assessor.

b. The owner of property subject to I.C., § 6-1.1-5-14, or the person performing the work on behalf of the owner, who has obtained a permit from the Town of Schererville for said work, shall not be required to pay a five-dollar ($5.00) fee for the filing of an assessment registration notice.
