a. Vehicle tow release fee. A twenty dollar ($20.00) fee shall be assessed and collected for any vehicle tow release performed by the Town of Schererville Police Department. The processing of the fee shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of the State of Indiana Board of Accounts, as amended from time to time. The fee shall be paid directly to the Town Police Department and deposited in the Police Department Non-reverting Equipment Fund.
b. Unclaimed vehicle fee. Any authorized vehicle tow company which obtains the appropriate and legal right and title to a car or vehicle towed at the request of the Town of Schererville Police Department, and then sells or “scraps” that car or vehicle, shall be assessed an unclaimed vehicle fee of twenty dollars ($20.00). The fee shall be paid directly to the Town Police Department and deposited in the Police Department Non-Reverting Equipment Fund.

c. Fingerprint Service Fee. A fifteen dollar ($15.00) fee shall be assessed and collected for any fingerprint services performed by the Town of Schererville Police Department. The processing of the fee shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of the State of Indiana Board of Accounts, as amended from time to time. The fee shall be paid directly to the Town Police Department and deposited in the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund.
