Sec. 4-188 Soliciting on Public Streets and Intersections Prohibited - Penalty.
   a.   It shall be, and is declared to be, unlawful for any person, firm, group, association, corporation or entity of any kind, public or private, for profit or not for profit, commercial or charitable, to sell or solicit for sale, or to cause to be sold or solicited for sale, or to seek contributions, for or in exchange for, any goods, merchandise or commodities, or cause, in the Town of Schererville, Indiana, upon or on any public street, highway, road or thoroughfare, or at or in any intersection of such public streets and/or roads and/or highways and/or thoroughfares in or bounding said Town.

   b.   Any person violating the foregoing provisions of this Section, or causing violation of said provisions of this Section shall, for each day of said violation, be fined a sum not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, per person.
