In the event any person or party becomes engaged in the maintenance, operation or conduct of any business, business activity, occupation or commercial establishment within the Town after June 30th of any calendar year, then that person or party shall be entitled to a one-half (½) reduction of the license fee owed. The reduction shall be based upon the bi-annual fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). The reduction of fee owed shall be for that partial calendar year only. The license issued for the partial calendar year shall terminate on the last day of the calendar year, and thereafter, the person or party engaged in the maintenance operation or conduct of any business, business activity, occupation or commercial establishment within the Town shall be required to comply with the provisions of this Division, as amended from time to time.
