Upon receipt of an application for a business license required by this Division, the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall refer the application to the Town Official duly designated and appointed by the Town Council for such purpose. The duly designated Town Official shall, upon receipt of an application, investigate the matters contained on said application, and prepare a report and recommendation. The Town Official investigating applications shall have the authority to review said application and related matters with all other appropriate and necessary Town Officials, including, but not limited to, Inspectors, Health Officials, and the like.
