All persons and parties, of whatever nature, engaged in the maintenance, operation and conduct of any business, business activity, occupation or commercial establishment, shall be required to first obtain a license for such business from the Town of Schererville. The requirement to obtain a business license shall include any individual person, party, partner or corporate entity, as well as their agents, employees, and representatives presenting themselves as engaged in the business or soliciting patronage therefore, actively or passively, or performing or attempting to perform any part of such business within the Town.
