Any party who violates any of the provisions of any ordinance of the Town of Schererville for which another penalty is not specifically provided, and which is not a continuing violation, commits a payable violation and may pay a fine of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), in the Clerk-Treasurer's Office of the Town of Schererville within ten (10) days from the date of the citation. In the event the violation must be enforced through the Lake County Court, a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00), nor more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00), shall be imposed in addition to Court costs.
