Sec. 3-12 When Two-Thirds (2/3) Vote Required.

A two-thirds (2/3) vote, with unanimous consent of the members present, is required to pass an ordinance on the same day or at the same meeting at which it is introduced. A two-thirds (2/3) vote means at least two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the elected members.
