Sec. 2-434 Central Purchasing Fund.
   a.   There is established for the town, a special fund which shall be known as the Central Purchasing Fund, established pursuant to the revisions of Indiana Code §§ 36-1-3-1, et seq., as amended from time to time.
   b.   The newly established Schererville Central Purchasing Department Central Purchasing Fund shall be funded in conformance with applicable law, as well as the rules and regulations of the Indiana State Board of Accounts for such funding. The Central Purchasing Fund of the Town shall be reimbursed by each Town department when such departments receive officer supplies and other miscellaneous items purchased by the Central Purchasing Department. Said funds reimbursed by each department shall be deposited into the Central Purchasing Fund upon such reimbursement.
   c.   The Town’s Central Purchasing Fund shall be managed and overseen by the office of the town Clerk-Treasurer and shall be for the specific purpose of purchasing office supplies and other miscellaneous items as is determined to be needed by the various departments of the town for future re-purchase by said individual Town departments.
   d.   The funding for the Central Purchasing Fund shall be from the Town General Fund in an amount determined annually each year in the budget process for the purposes for which said Central Purchasing Fund is established.
