a. A Petty Cash Fund is established within the Clerk-Treasurer's Office of the Town of Schererville, Lake County, Indiana. In establishing the Petty Cash Fund, the Clerk-Treasurer's Office shall establish and maintain all statutory and proper procedures for the transfer, use and expenditures of monies from said Petty Cash Fund.
b. The Clerk-Treasurer of the Town is authorized and required to transfer three hundred dollars ($300.00) to said Petty Cash Fund of the Clerk-Treasurer's Office to effectuate the purposes required for said Petty Cash Fund, pursuant to statutory requirements.
