Sec. 2-404 Equipment Fund for Fire Department. 47
   a.   There is established an Equipment Fund for the Fire Department of the Town of Schererville.

   b.   All fees and monies collected pursuant to the Schedule of Service Charges (which is on file in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer and open for public inspection during regular business hours) and collected pursuant to this Ordinance, as amended from time to time, shall be deposited into said Equipment Fund for the various purposes of the Fire Department of the Town of Schererville.

   c.   Monies transferred from the Fire Department and Ambulance Department of the General Fund may be deposited from time to time, into the Fire Department Equipment Fund and commingled with other sources of revenue as heretofore provided in Ordinance No. 1231.

   d.   The purpose for which expenditures can be made from said Fire Department Equipment Fund shall be for the acquisition of Fire Department related equipment, specifically including the acquisition of Fire Firefighters' Protective Clothing Suits a/k/a "Turn-Out Gear".

   e.   The existence of said Fund is perpetual until terminated by subsequent ordinance.
