Sec. 2-368 Credit Cards.
   The Town Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to utilize and accept credit cards for the payment of fines, fees, costs, charges and services to the Town consistent with the terms and provisions set forth hereafter. For such purposes, the Town Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to establish accounts at, enter into agreements with, and pay fees to Sand Ridge Bank for the specific purpose of enabling the Town to accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards in the conduct of monetary transaction by residents and citizens for the payment by such residents and citizens of fines, fees, costs, charges and services to the Town. For the purposes of this section, and consistent with the provisions of Indiana Code § 36-1-8-11, “credit card” means, and shall include a credit card, debit card or charge card.
   The Town Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed to comply with and conform to all applicable rules, regulations and requirements of the applicable Indiana Code provisions as well as the Indiana State Board of Accounts in the utilization and acceptance of credit cards for the payment of fines, fees, costs, charges and services to the Town.
