a. The Town of Schererville, a municipal corporation, on behalf of itself and its boards, commissions, public corporations and other such governmental subdivisions created by the Town Council, shall be exempt from any and all restrictions, rules and regulations concerning land uses while in the performance of its governmental function.
b. Only the Town of Schererville through its Town Council shall be empowered to authorize its consent to the exemptions on behalf of any of its governmental subdivisions concerning land uses that are in the performance of its governmental function.
