a. The Town of Schererville shall each year provide a uniform allowance to all members of its Fire Department/EMT, who qualify for such allowance, or provide uniforms, and/or equipment equivalent to one thousand three hundred thirty-nine ($1,339.00) dollars per year.
b. This allowance or provision of uniforms and/or equipment shall be provided in four (4) equal installments, the dates of same being March 31st, June 30th, September 30th and December 31st of each year.
