Sec. 9-417 Off-Site Drainage Provisions.
When the allowable runoff is released in an area that is susceptible to flooding, the developer or owner may be required to construct appropriate storm drains through such area to avert increased flood hazard caused by the concentration of allowable runoff at one (1) point instead of the natural overland distribution. The requirement of off-site drains shall be at the discretion of the Department of Planning and Building following review and recommendation of the Plan Commission.
