§ 12-1601. Commercial Vehicles.
   (1)   No motor vehicle designed for carrying freight or merchandise or any truck-tractor, or any motor vehicle designed for passenger transportation which has been altered so as to become a vehicle for the transportation of freight or merchandise, other than a suburban motor vehicle with a convertible or interchangeable body, usable for both passenger and commercial purposes and including motor vehicles commonly known as suburban, station, or depot wagons, shall pass through the Parks except on Belmont avenue, Roosevelt boulevard, Broad street from Oregon avenue to the Navy yard, Gustine Interchange and the Museum Plaza, or except on Park business at times designated by the Director of Fairmount Park.
   (2)   No motor vehicle which displays the owner's name and address in letters more than two (2) inches in height and occupying a space of more than 144 square inches shall pass through the Parks except on Belmont avenue, Roosevelt boulevard, Broad street from Oregon avenue to the Navy Yard, Gustine Interchange and the Museum Plaza, or except on Park business at times designated by the Director of Fairmount Park; provided, however, that public carriers may display such markings and signs as are commonly carried by such carriers elsewhere in the City of Philadelphia.
