There is hereby established in the City Treasury a special trust fund which is hereby designated as the Motion Picture Coordination Fund. At such time as the City Council shall direct there shall be deposited into such special trust fund all service and use charges collected by the entity authorized by the Council to collect them and transmitted as directed by the City Council for such deposit. The departments providing services shall then be reimbursed therefore for such services provided by said departments in connection with the permit. All use charges shall be transferred to the accounts of the Departments of Harbor, Library, Recreation and Parks, and Water and Power to the extent that such use charges are derived from the use of property under the control and management of said departments. All other use charges shall be transferred to Project Restore.
Monies shall be expended from said special trust fund for other purposes only when first approved by the Mayor and the President of the Council or the Chairperson of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Council.
All application fees received by the City shall be deposited in the City’s General Fund.

The provisions of this article shall not apply to property under the control and management of the Department of Airports, or to property described in Section 22.76 of this code.

The Board of Public Works, upon payment of the fee authorized and required therefore in Section 22.357 of this article, shall furnish to a member of the public, to a representative of a department of the City having control over its own special funds, or to a representative of another governmental agency, when acting in the representative’s official capacity, microfilm copies of any public maps, plan or record; printed copies of standard plans, standard specifications, standard practice instructions, and the City's Bench Mark Index; and copies of plans, maps, profiles, charts and specifications reproduced by the following processes: blueprint, negative, brownline, blueline, photostat, electrostat, ozalid, mimeograph, facsimile, cassette diskettes, audio tapes, computerized digital tapes, and any other electronic recordings. If authorized by the Board of Public Works, the Department may also charge a fee for the distribution of specialized guides or handbooks prepared by the Department. The fees and charges herein shall be determined and adopted in the same manner as provided in Section 12.37 I.1. of the Los Angeles Municipal Code for establishing fees.

The Board of Public Works shall by order or resolution establish fees to be charged and collected for the furnishing of any item specified in Section 22.356 of this article. Any fee so fixed shall approximate as nearly as practical the cost to the City, including but not limited to material and labor costs, related to the preparation of the items furnished. The Board of Public Works shall from time to time revise said fees to assure that the fees charged are sufficient to reimburse the City for such costs but not so great as to exceed them.
