The Board of Public Works may provide for a waiver of the fees charged pursuant to Section 22.357 hereof when the person requesting is a representative of another governmental agency or department of the City of Los Angeles having control of its own special funds, acting in the person’s official capacity, if that governmental agency or that department furnishes to the City of Los Angeles, without charge, copies of public documents and records in its possession or control, or if the Board, in its discretion, determines that it is in the best interests of the City to furnish copies of items specified in Section 22.356 hereof without cost to that agency or that department.
