Any religious organization bus may be equipped with a four-lamp flashing signal system having unison flashing amber lamps, two at the front and two at the rear of the bus, mounted as high and as widely spaced laterally on the same level as is practicable. If such equipment is installed: each lamp must be a sealed beam at least five inches in diameter and have sufficient intensity to be visible at 500 feet in normal sunlight; the system shall be actuated only by means of a manual switch; and there shall be a device for indicating to the receiver that the system is operating properly or is inoperative.

CITY VEHICLE LICENSES
The term
MOTOR VEHICLE, as used in this subchapter, is hereby defined as and shall be construed to mean and include all automobiles, trucks, vans, motor bicycles, traction vehicles and all other vehicles propelled otherwise than by muscular power, and vehicles or trailers pulled by motor vehicles; but the term MOTOR VEHICLE shall not be construed to include the cars of railways or other vehicles operated solely on fixed tracks or rails.

Any person residing within the city or any person who owns or leases a motor vehicle registered to that person’s business or residential address within the city shall be entitled to, and required to, obtain a license for such motor vehicle from the city as hereinafter provided. Any such person who fails to obtain such a license from the city and uses or causes to be used such unlicensed motor vehicle upon the streets, avenues or alleys of the city shall be in violation of this section.

Every person required pursuant to § 74.176 to obtain a motor vehicle license from the city, and only such persons, shall, except as hereinafter provided, file an application with the Finance Clerk, upon a form to be provided by him or her, setting forth the name and address of the applicant and a description of the vehicle for which the license is desired. Such application shall be filed within 30 days after the person becomes an owner or operator of a motor vehicle for which such license is required. Upon payment by the applicant of the license fee as hereinafter provided, the Finance Clerk shall issue or cause to be issued a license authorizing the use of such motor vehicle within the city until the expiration of the license.
