§ 158.01 INCORPORATION.
   The preambles in the ordinance codified herein are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if set out in full at this place.

§ 158.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   PORTABLE SWIMMING POOL. A temporary pool with a maximum depth not exceeding 18 inches intended for wading and requiring no water filtration.
   PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL SWIMMING POOL. A receptacle of water, or artificial basin of water, either above ground, below ground or partly-above or below ground having a depth in excess of 18 inches or more and all associated equipment which is used or intended for the use of persons for the purpose of immersion, partial immersion or swimming, and including but not limited to all equipment appurtenant thereto.

§ 158.03 COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER REQUIRED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or allow the construction, maintenance, installation or enlargement of any private residential swimming pool in the village, except in compliance with all of the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   This chapter shall not apply to “portable swimming pools”.
