Any existing private residential swimming pool that is not in compliance with the provisions contained herein shall be deemed a “nonconforming use”, but may continue to be used, maintained and repaired (but in no event altered or enlarged) in accordance with the original design and at its original location so long as no hazard to the public health, safety and welfare is created by the continued use, maintenance or repair.
