The director, chief of police, fire chief, a park ranger, or a sworn peace officer employed by the city may temporarily suspend an event in any city park facility which is authorized by a director permit or a park commission permit issued in the manner hereinbefore provided by this chapter whenever there is an emergency which requires the event to be temporarily suspended to protect public health or safety. Whenever an event is temporarily suspended for this reason, the permittee and all other persons participating in such event shall immediately comply with the suspending officer's instructions.
