3.28.040   Audit by finance director.
   The records of the chief of police regarding the registration of any lost, stolen, or unclaimed property coming into the chief of police’s possession and the disposition thereof shall be made available to the finance director for an audit at the time such property is transferred to the city manager for disposition in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
