EDITOR’S NOTE: Ordinance 3437, passed December 22, 2009, provides for the following: By virtue of the authority vested in the City Council by the Charter for the City of West Carrollton, all of the rates and fees set forth in Chapter 37, the General Fee Schedule, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of West Carrollton shall be subject to an automatic annual increase equal to the percentage obtained by averaging the national inflation rate from the United States Labor Department, Bureau of Labor Statistics, for the previous three years. All rates and fees $10.00 or less shall be rounded to the nearest $0.10 and all rates and fees greater than $10.00 shall be rounded to the nearest dollar. This increase shall be implemented by the City of West Carrollton City Manager each year without further action by this Council. The first such increase shall take effect December 31, 2009 and each increase thereafter shall take place no later than March 31 of each year, commencing with March 31, 2010.
Ordinance 3443, passed February 23, 2009 provides that Ordinance 3437 shall not be applied to Section 37.03 of Chapter 37 of the Codified Ordinances during calendar years 2010, 2011 and 2012, the increased rates set forth in Section 37.03 shall be the only increases applicable to Section 37.03 of Chapter 37 in 2010.
Ordinance 3445, passed March 9, 2010 provides that Ordinance 3437 shall not be applied to Section 37.14 of Chapter 37 of the Codified Ordinances during calendar years 2010, 2011 or 2012, the increased rates set forth in Section 37.14 shall be the only increases applicable to Section 37.14 of Chapter 37 in 2010.
Ordinance 3692, passed March 9, 2021 provides that Chapter 37 and the rates and fees for services and permits of the City of West Carrollton are to remain unchanged for the remainder of fiscal year 2021.
