§ 37.11 WATER AND SEWER TAP FEES; REGULATIONS - PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION WATER (§ 51.11)
   (A)   Any person, firm, or corporation constructing a building or buildings for which a water tap into the municipal system is required shall secure from the city a permit for construction water, the fee for which shall be based upon the total estimated construction cost of the building or buildings according to the following schedule.

Up to and including $80,000
The current minimum charge in effect for a 5/8 inch to 3/4 inch. (See § 50.02)
$80,001 and above
The current minimum charge as above plus ($.25) per $1,000 of cost or fraction thereof in excess of $80,000
 
   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation requesting temporary water usage for an existing building construction or maintenance project shall submit a fire hydrant meter deposit of ($995) (refundable). Water usage shall be the current minimum charge in effect for a 5/8" - 3/4" meter, plus the current additional charge per 1,000 gallons used over the minimum 10,000 gallons.
