(A) Notice of regularly scheduled meetings of the following bodies must be provided to the Clerk of Council.
(1) City Council;
(2) Planning Board;
(3) Board of Appeals;
(4) Civil Service Commission;
(5) Board of Tax Appeals;
(6) Architectural and Restoration Board of Review;
(7) Any other boards or commissions established by City Council.
(B) The dates will be furnished to the news media, posted at the City Government Center, and given to the administration by the appropriate secretary so the public may be informed.
(C) Meetings will be held in the Council Chambers in the City Government Center, unless the Chairperson of such body elects to move the meeting to another location.
(1) If a meeting is moved, a notice must be posted on Council Chamber doors directing public to the new meeting place.
(2) The open meeting law does not require member(s) of the group holding a meeting to open the discussion to any news media or public who attend the meeting.
(D) The 24-hour advance notice for emergency meetings may be waived, but the news media must be notified of the meeting.
(E) Notice to news media of Special Meetings. Any news media that desires to be given advance notification of special meetings of a city body shall file a written request with the Clerk.
(F) Any persons requesting notification of special or called meetings, or on a specific type of public business, shall reimburse the city for costs incurred.
(G) Contents on notification of meetings may be a copy of the agenda for the meeting.
(H) A reasonable attempt at notification shall constitute notification in compliance with these rules.
(I) A certificate by the Clerk or a member of the public body as to compliance with these rules shall be conclusive upon this city and the municipal body involved.

Provisions of the City Charter shall prevail if any conflict arises thereon. Procedural matters arising that are not specifically provided for in these rules of Council shall be governed by Roberts Rules of Order.

(A) The annual salary for members of Council shall be as set by legislative authority.
(B) If for any reason any serving member of Council does not complete a full year's service, the salary provided shall be prorated over the period of time the member of Council did serve, and paid to that member of Council or to his or her estate.
