§ 31.28 ORDER OF BUSINESS.

   All regularly-scheduled Council meetings shall be conducted in the following manner and in the following order:

   (A)   Call to order;

   (B)   Roll call;

   (C)   Prayer for guidance;

   (D)   Pledge of Allegiance to Flag;

   (E)   Motion to approve agenda;

   (F)   Action on minutes of previous meeting(s);

   (G)   Presentations, proclamations, and award (these matters put on the agenda by the city staff);

   (H)   Legislation:

      (1)   Second reading of ordinances;

      (2)   Resolutions (only one reading required);

      (3)   First readings of ordinances.

   (I)   Motions; (If additional motions are to be added, an amendment to the agenda is necessary for Council to consider the proposed additional motions.)

   (J)   Miscellaneous business;

   (K)   Citizen’s comments on items not on the agenda;

   (L)   Comments of Council members/City Manager;

   (M)   Adjournment.

Recess may be called by the President or on motion of Council at any time.
