§ 1064.01 LIABILITY OF CITY.
   Persons using the city reservoirs and city lands and facilities adjacent and contiguous thereto shall be considered "recreational users", as the term is defined in R.C. § 1533.18(B), and as such, the persons shall assume responsibility for any consequences of that recreational use. The city assumes no liability whatsoever for the safety of boats, boat slips or moorings, the operators or users thereof or passengers therein or thereon. The city assumes no liability toward persons using city lands or facilities adjacent or contiguous to the reservoirs.

§ 1064.02 TYPES OF WATERCRAFT PERMITTED ON SHELBY CITY RESERVOIR NO. 3
   Rowboats, canoes, paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks, sailing craft and watercraft powered only by electric motors are permitted on Shelby Reservoir No. 3. All watercraft shall be launched and removed at the provided boat ramp, located on the southwest side of the reservoir. No boat shall exceed a maximum speed of five miles per hour. Only government agency watercraft are permitted on the water with an onboard gasoline engine.
