51-24-1: PURPOSE:
Outlines the corrective action, discipline, and appeal process for city employees.
51-24-2: SCOPE:
   A.   This policy applies to full-time employees of Salt Lake City Corporation who have satisfactorily completed their probationary period, with the exception of at-will employees (including part-time, seasonal, appointed and probationary employees). At-will employees (including part-time, seasonal, appointed and probationary employees) are not subject to this policy.
51-24-3: CORRECTIVE ACTION:
   A.   Corrective action may include, but is not limited to: verbal coaching and counseling, discussions regarding performance improvement, required retraining, and/or verbal or written warnings.
