§ 20-401. Adjustment and Settlement. 31
   (1)   The Law Department may adjust and settle claims for workmen's compensation.
   (2)   Requisition for payment of workmen's compensation claims shall be drawn by the Law Department against available funds in the appropriation to the Director of Finance for "Indemnities".
