(1) Every person propelling any push cart or riding or leading an animal upon a roadway, and every person driving any animal-drawn vehicle, shall be subject to the provisions of this Title applicable to operators.
(1) The operator of an authorized emergency vehicle, when responding to an emergency call or when in pursuit of an actual or suspected violator of the law or when responding to but not upon returning from a fire call, may:
(a) Park or stand, irrespective of the provisions of this Title, or
(b) Disregard the provisions of this Title governing direction of movement or turning in specified directions.
(2) The rights granted to an authorized emergency vehicle shall apply only when the operator of such vehicle is sounding an audible signal.
