FIRE PREVENTION CODE
(A) There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions, hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the Basic Fire Prevention Code, 2009 Edition, as amended, as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., 17926 South Halsted Street, Homewood, Illinois, 60430, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended herein.
(B) A complete copy of this code, and supplements thereto, are available for public use and inspection in the office of the Village Clerk.
(C) From and after the date on which this Code shall take effect, the provisions of said Basic Fire Prevention Code and supplements thereto shall be controlling within the limits of the village.
