§ 90.01 TREATMENT OF ANIMALS.

   No person shall cruelly treat or abuse any animal or bird.

§ 90.02 DEPOSIT OF POISONOUS SUBSTANCES PROHIBITED.

   No person shall throw or deposit any poisonous substance on any exposed public or private place where it endangers or is likely to endanger any animal or bird.

§ 90.03 KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK.

   The keeping of livestock within the village is prohibited.

   (A)   No cattle or swine or horses shall be kept in any dwelling or part thereof within the village.

   (B)   The provisions of this section shall not apply to any public zoo maintained under municipal supervision or to any livestock auction barn lawfully established prior to the effective date of this chapter, or to livestock kept in connection with the operation of a farm, in an area designated by the Zoning Ordinance of the village or amendments thereto as an agricultural area.
