2403.4.2 Residue.
Residue removed during cleaning and debris contaminated with residue shall be immediately removed from the premises and disposed of lawfully.
2403.4.3 Waste cans.
Approved metal waste cans equipped with self-closing lids shall be provided wherever rags or waste are impregnated with finishing material. Such rags and waste shall be deposited therein immediately after being utilized. The contents of waste cans shall be properly disposed of at the end of each work shift and at least once daily.
2403.4.4 Solvent recycling.
Solvent distillation equipment used to recycle and clean dirty solvents shall comply with the requirements of FC 5705.4.
Section FC 2404: Spray Finishing
2404.1 General.
Spraying operations involving the use of flammable or combustible liquids in continuous or intermittent processes shall be conducted in accordance with this section and FC 2403 and 2407, as applicable.
