A room in a cellar is not a habitable room. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, §90-35; 2017 L.M.C., ch. 27, §1.)
(a) All mattresses, blankets and other bedding used at hotels must be kept clean and free of bedbugs.
(b) Clean sheets and pillow slips must be provided in hotels at least once each week and after each succeeding guest. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, §90-36; 2017 L.M.C., ch. 27, §1.)

Every owner or operator of a hotel is responsible for maintaining all parts of the hotel, in a clean and sanitary condition, including the land on which the hotel is located. Every owner or operator is responsible for maintaining the hotel in good repair. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, §90-39; 2017 L.M.C., ch. 27, §1.)
The Department is responsible for making all necessary inspections regulated under this Article and must report to the Director any violations of this Division. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, §90-40; 1972 L.M.C., ch. 16, §13; 1980 L.M.C., ch. 41, §1; 1995 L.M.C., ch. 13, §1; 2017 L.M.C., ch. 27, §1.)
Editor's note-Section 5 of 1995 L.M.C., ch. 13, reads as follows: "Sec. 5. A regulation that implements a function assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services by 1995 LMC ch. 13 continues in effect but is amended to the extent necessary to provide that the regulation is administered by the Director of the Department of Health and Human Services."
