§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this traffic code for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   Fines. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of §§ 70.01 through 70.09, 70.20 through 70.25, 70.40 through 70.45, 71.01 through 71.11, 71.25 through 71.30, 71.32, 71.45 through 71.47, 72.01 through 72.05, and non-specified provisions of Chapter 74 and Chapter 75 shall be fined not less than $1 nor more than $100 for each offense.
      (2)   Civil penalty. Whenever a police officer of the city is authorized to arrest a person without a warrant because of the violation of any of the following provisions, in respect to any of the following penalties, said police officer may, in lieu of filing a formal complaint in court, in the first instance issue to such alleged violator a citation:
         (a)   Advising said person that he or she has violated a specific ordinance;
         (b)   Requesting him or her to make payment in an amount applicable to said alleged violation as set forth above as settlement of said violation claim; and
         (c)   Informing him or her that, upon failure to so settle, a complaint will be filed in the County Circuit Court charging him or her with such violation.

   (C)    Persons violating § 70.06 shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $100.

   (D)   Any such conduct shall be known as disorderly conduct and a violation of § 71.26 and shall constitute a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $1 and not more than $100.

   (E)   Any such conduct shall be known as disorderly conduct and be a violation of § 71.27 and shall constitute a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not less than $1 and not more than $100.

   (F)   The violation of any of the terms of § 71.33 by any person shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $75 nor more than $500 for each offense.
   (G)   Any person violating any of the terms of § 71.48 shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100 for each offense.
   (H)   Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any provisions of § 71.49 shall be subject to punishment by a fine of $75.
   (I)   Persons violating § 72.06 shall be subject to a fine of $75.
   (J)   Any violation of Chapter 74, Schedule II, shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500 for each such offense, unless otherwise specified.
