PUBLIC SALES OF PERSONAL PROPERTY

5-7-1: PUBLIC SALE PERMIT:

A permit shall be secured from the village for each day of a public sale of personal property (e.g., yard, garage or estate sales) at least seven (7) days in advance of such sales. All such public sale permits shall be on forms provided by the village and shall be submitted to the police department. No more than three (3) permits shall be issued to any address in any one calendar year. (Ord. 9408, 10-10-1994)

5-7-2: IMPORTED PROPERTY:

No property shall be imported into the village for the purpose of the sales regulated by this chapter. (Ord. 9408, 10-10-1994)

5-7-3: SIGNS:

One sign may be placed on the premises and one sign off the premises in accordance with subsection 8-7-2A of this code only on the day of the sale. (Ord. 9408, 10-10-1994)
