There is hereby created the position of deputy fire chief in the village. The deputy fire chief shall act as fire chief when the fire chief is not on duty. The deputy fire chief shall be compensated at a sum to be set by the president and board of trustees and shall be exempt from overtime pay. He/she shall enter into a bond in favor of the village in such amount as may be required by the president and the board of trustees. (Ord. 15-02, 4-14-2015)
