5-1-2: FIRE CHIEF:
The fire chief shall be the head of the fire department under the direction of the village administrator. He/she shall be appointed by the village president and confirmed by the board of trustees. He/she shall enter into a bond in favor of the village in such amount as may be required by the president and the board of trustees. (Ord. 15-02, 4-14-2015)
