§ 7-1  REQUIRED; EXCEPTIONS; PERSONS UNDER 18 NOT ENTITLED TO LICENSE.
   No person, persons, firm or corporation shall operate or cause to be operated any ambulance, public or private, or any other vehicle commonly used for the transportation or conveyance of the sick or injured upon the streets of the City of Flint, without first obtaining a license for said vehicle and no license shall be granted to any applicant who is not currently licensed with the State of Michigan and meets all requirements of State statute and rules and regulations of all State agencies. Provided further that no person under the age of eighteen years shall be entitled to a license hereunder. Provided further that nothing in this ordinance shall be interpreted to apply to any ambulance or emergency vehicle used for the transportation or conveyance of sick or injured persons from outside the limits of the City of Flint to a hospital inside the limits of the City of Flint, nor shall this ordinance be interpreted to apply to any ambulance or emergency vehicle used to transport or convey any patient from any hospital, convalescent home or rest home inside the limits of the City of Flint to a destination outside the limits of the City of Flint.
