1703.37 RECORDS.
   The Commissioner of Buildings shall keep permanent, accurate records of all the business of the Division of Buildings. The records of the Division shall also include data submitted by applicants on subsoil conditions, log of borings, tests for soil-bearing capacities and bearing power of foundation piles, together with the location of the building or premises to which they relate.
   The Housing Manager shall keep permanent and accurate records of all the business of the Department of Housing. The records of the Department shall also include any and all pertinent information gathered by the Housing Manager or the designated Department Inspector relating to occupants, owners or activity on the property in violation of this Code.

1703.38 REPORTS.
   The Commissioner of Buildings and the Housing Manager shall submit a report to the Mayor not less than once a year covering the work of the Division of Buildings during the preceding period. He or she shall incorporate in the report a summary of his or her recommendations as to desirable amendments to this Code.

1703.39 REVOCATION OF PERMIT.
   The Commissioner of Buildings shall revoke a permit or approval issued under the provisions of this Code in case there has been any false statement or misrepresentation as to a material fact in the application or plans on which the permit or approval was based, or whenever any permit or approval has been issued in error and conditions are such that a permit or approval should not have been issued.

1703.40 LIABILITY. (REPEALED)
(EDITOR'S NOTE: Section 1703.40 was repealed by Ordinance 201-1997, passed October 6, 1997.)
1703.41 PERIODIC INSPECTIONS.
   The person to whom a permit has been issued shall be responsible for requesting periodic inspection at each of the following stages of construction before covering or concealing work and before proceeding beyond such state with the construction:
   (a)   Excavation of footing drains, building drains and building sewers;
   (b)   Completion of the foundation and waterproofing;
   (c)   During the framing of the superstructure;
   (d)   Completion of roughing in the plumbing, electrical wiring, gas piping, heating ducts or piping, or other similar service installations;
   (e)   Before closing in all structural elements; and
   (f)   Upon the final completion of the structure.

1703.42 OTHER INSPECTIONS.
   In addition to the required periodic inspections, the Commissioner of Buildings may make any other inspections of the work to ascertain compliance with the provisions of this Code and other applicable laws, ordinances, rules or regulations.
