6-6-3-4: CERTIFICATES OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE AND PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIRED:
Prior to issuance of a license under this section 6-6-3 the applicant shall present a certificate of workers' compensation insurance and a certificate of public liability insurance in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00). (Ord. 425, 4-9-1991)
6-6-3-5: FEE:
Application for a license under this section 6-6-3 shall be accompanied by a license fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00), which amount is established as the annual license fee. (Ord. 425, 4-9-1991)
6-6-3-6: TERM:
All licenses used under this section 6-6-3 shall be valid until April 30 next succeeding the date of issuance of such license. The village board of trustees may issue only one license and may refuse any applicant. Issuance of a license hereunder is in the sole discretion of the village board. (Ord. 425, 4-9-1991)
6-6-4: SERVICE CHARGE:
A service charge is hereby imposed on each person, firm or corporation receiving service for the collection of solid waste and curbside recycling in the Village, by the disposal contractor under a contract with the Village. The amount of the service charge shall be established from time to time by action of the affirmative vote of not less than a majority of the Board of Trustees and shall be payable monthly.
The service charge provided in this section shall be paid by each user of these disposal services in the same manner as the bimonthly service charge is imposed on users of water and/or combined water and sewer service in section 7-7-2 of this code.
