6-6-1-2: OPEN BURNING:
Open burning is defined by the lllinois Environmental Protection Agency and the Illinois Pollution Control Board is hereby prohibited for all garbage, rubbish, waste, Landscape. Waste, agricultural waste and commercial or trade waste except as provided by Section 6-8-1 of this Code and the mies and regulations of the Illinois Pollution Control Board and the Illinois Environmental Protections Agency regarding open burning.

6-6-1-3: INCINERATORS:
Any commercial establishment desiring to burn any trash shall burn the same in an incinerator which conforms to the requirements and standards established, approved and licensed by the state pollution control board. (Ord. 425, 4-9-1981)
6-6-1-4: EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS OF VILLAGE COLLECTION:
Any garbage, refuse, trash, recyclables or yard waste generated by any residential dwelling unit and placed at the curb for collection shall be collected solely and exclusively by the village or its officially designated solid waste disposal contractor. (Ord. 425, 4-9-1981)
6-6-1-5: VIOLATION; PENALTY:
A violation of section 6-6-2-5, 6-6-2-6, 6-6-2-7, or 6-6-2-10 of this chapter is punishable by a minimum fine of one hundred dollars ($100.00) and a maximum fine of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for any subsequent offense. A violation of other sections of this chapter shall be punishable by a maximum fine of one hundred dollars ($100.00). (Ord. 425, 4-9-1981)
